The Grinns is an American power pop band. The current lineup of the group consists of Fred Hadyka (drums), Jackson Jarrett (guitar), Francisco Jorquiera (guitar), Ramtin Khoee (production, guitar, keyboards, and bass), and Joey Kolk (lead vocals). Michael Perry is also a member of The Grinns since 2020 as the band’s co-songwriter and co-producer. The band was formed in 2014 in Mission Viejo, California. The band has been recognized as one of the major representations of the Southern California indie music scene during the late 2010s.
The Grinns signed a record deal with Postmark Records in 2018, and they have been releasing their records under the record label since then. The band first started releasing their mixtapes on SoundCloud. On January 2, 2018, the band released its debut album entitled Golden Hour. On August 23, 2019, The Grinns released its sophomore album, Let the Daze Go. The band is known globally for its distinct and ever-changing sound. Their musical style is influenced heavily by rock.
