The Delta Bombers Information
The Delta Bombers is an American rock & roll band. It was formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The current lineup consists of PJ Franco (drums), Gregorio Garcia (upright bass), Chris Moinichen (acoustic guitar and vocals), and Andrew Himmler (guitar).
After meeting on Myspace in response to Andrew's post about creating a rockabilly band in Las Vegas, Chris Moinichen and Andrew Himmler founded The Delta Bombers. Nicholas Lopez on drums and Oscar Chong on stand-up bass completed the initial lineup.
The Delta Bombers recorded "Howlin'" in November 2008 at Wild Records USA, and it was released in March 2009. They began doing gigs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, which drew the attention of European promoters, who began booking them for European appearances. On August 20, 2011, they performed their debut European gig at Rockin' At The Drive-In Barn No. 6 in Oosteeklo, Belgium.
"Wolf," their follow-up album, was produced at Wild Records USA in 2011 and released in 2012. Wolf drew international recognition when they embarked on their first lengthy headlining tour in Europe, including stops in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden.
The Delta Bombers appeared alongside other Wild Records artists in director Elise Salomon's documentary "Los Wild Ones," which won Best Documentary at the Phoenix Film Festival and was an official selection at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in 2013.
