The Campbell Brothers are a family band from Rush, New York, consisting of three brothers and one son that play Sacred Steel gospel music. The group first formed as the house band for a House of God Keith Dominion church and is primarily known for its usage of pedal steel guitar in their performances. Chuck, the pedal steel player, tunes his instrument to his specifications. Darick Campbell, Chuck's sibling, performed the lap steel guitar.
Before signing with Ropeadope Records and releasing Can You Feel It? in 2005, they released multiple albums on blues label Arhoolie Records in the late '90s and early '00s. According to Billboard, the album performed well enough to land at twenty-six on its Top Gospel Albums chart. Special guests such as Denise Brown, Katie Jackson, and Malcolm Kirby frequently perform on vocals. Beyond The 4 Walls (2013), Sacred Steel for the Holidays (2002), Sacred Steel On Tour! (2001), and Pass Me Not (2000) are a few of The Campbell Brothers' other albums (1997).
