The Black Keys are still among the best-known and most-loved rock groups of the 21st century. From their early days of rough, garage blues-rock, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have become big stars with records like Brothers (2010) and El Camino (2011), which brought rock music with blues elements back into the mainstream.
The duo released Ohio Players in 2024. They worked with famous artists on this record and chose a more groove-heavy sound. The record received many good reviews, and the tour that followed gave fans a chance to hear old and new songs performed with the raw energy they're known for.
The Black Keys have planned a longer tour for 2025 and have hinted that they are working on new music that might have more blues elements. They are still a major force in modern rock because they can change while keeping true to their roots.
