The 8-Bit Big Band is a Jazz/Pops orchestra comprising 30–65 musicians who came together to honor and bring to life some of the greatest video game music themes across all platforms. Members of the 8-Bit Big Band are some of the most in-demand musicians and entertainers worldwide, and they come from all over the globe. They share a love of video games, and they all happen to call New York City home.
Press Start!, the debut album by the 8-Bit Big Band, was released in May of 2018 and comprises arrangements of music from video games such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Ganbare Goemon, F-Zero, and Final Fantasy. Incredibly talented artists and performers (nearly 50 in total) created it.
