Tamar Braxton Information
Tamar Estine Braxton (March 17, 1977) is an American musician and reality star. In 1990, Braxton started in the music industry when she and her sisters created the R&B group named The Braxtons.
After releasing their first album, So Many Ways, as a trio in 1996, the Braxtons soon went their way. Braxton's self-titled first album was released in 2000 by DreamWorks Records. Braxton returned to the music scene with Epic Records' Love and War (2013), which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.
Braxton participated in the second season of Celebrity Big Brother in 2019. The first episode aired on CBS on January 21, and the series finale aired on February 13, 2019. Braxton ultimately won, making history as the first African-American to win a U.S. Big Brother tournament.
In September 2020, she appeared on We TV in the documentary Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!. Braxton has since appeared on other musicians' tracks, including Mr.P and Elijah Blake. She announced in 2021 that she was back in the studio working on two albums, the first of which would be released at the beginning of the next decade.
Featuring a sample of SWV's "Rain," Braxton dropped the single "Changed" on March 17, 2023. The R&B digital song sales chart saw "Changed" enter position No. 15 upon its release by Billboard. On Billboard's R&B Digital single sales list, the single reached No. 9. She made her big-screen debut in A Mother's Intuition on July 23, 2023.
