The Slambovian Circus of Dreams is a New York-based band with its founding members being Tony Zuzulo, who remained in the band from 1998 to January 2012. The current lineup of the group consists of Joziah Longo (harmonica, guitar, and lead vocals), Sharkey McEwen (mandolin, lead guitar, and backing vocals), Tink Lloyd (backing vocals, theremin, piccolo, flute, cello, and accordion), and Felipe Torres (drums and percussion). The band is known for playing major folk music at different music festivals, clubs, venues, and theatres in the Northeastern as well as East North Central United States and Canada.
The Slambovian Circus of Dreams has sold out many performances all around the country. The unique flavor of the band can be captured while attending their live concert. Many of their fans travel hundreds of miles just to participate in a show. The group has released most of its albums under the record label, High Neon. Their fans make an incredible audience at the Grand Slambovian Hillbilly Pirate Balls, an annual costumed event that is held in New York and London, the run-up to Halloween.
The Slambovia Circus of Dreams have released several notable studio albums so far throughout their career including A Good Thief Tips His Hat (1999), Live from WDST – Acoustic Breakfast (2000), Suddenly It’s Christmas (2000), A Night at the Puppet House (2005), and Ancient Murphy Greatest Hits of the 20th Century (2007).
