Shigeto Information
Shigeto is the stage name given to Zachary Shigeto Saginaw. He is an American electronic musician who is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. His music style is defined as Electronic music. Shigeto's music is famous due to its diverse sound. His music style is greatly influenced by jazz, as well as his fellow Ghostly artists and some other sources as well. Shigeto's melodic, beat-oriented songs are a hit being a unique blend of electronic music and instrumental hip hop.
Full Circle was the first studio album by Shigeto, which was released in 2010 under the Ghostly International label. Some of the other studio albums that were released under the same label include Lineage 2012, No Better Time Than Now 2013, and The New Monday 2017. He also released a few extended songs under the same label, including "What We Held On To EP" 2010, "Semi Circle EP" 2010, "Intermission EP" 2015, "Weighted" 2018, and "Versions" 2019. "New Crossings EP" was the only extended song that was released under the label Moodgadget Records in 2008. "2010" was a self-released song with Devonwho that came out in 2015.
Shigeto also released a remix under the same old label in 2011 entitled "Full Circle Remixes". With Dave Douglas, he released High Risk (Greenleaf, 2015) and Dark Territory (Greenleaf, 2016).
