Roman Ayala Information
Ramón Ayala, son of musician Ramón Covarrubias, became an accordion king early. He was encouraged and helped financially by his parents, so he began performing in public venues to support their small family.
Before joining Los Pavoreales, Ramón Ayala played in a band named Los Jilgueros de Marin. The gifted guitarist established Relampagos del Norte after meeting Cornelio Reyna in Reynosa.
The band quickly put out an album under their name containing the smash song "Ya No Llores." After Cornelio Reyna's death, the band became known as Los Bravos del Norte. Performing as Ramon Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte, this ensemble recorded a memorial to Cornelio Reynas, "En Las Alas de un Ango," just after he died.
From 1998 onward, Los Bravos del Norte maintained an extremely busy recording and touring schedule, releasing multiple albums yearly (not including the numerous compilations that hit stores).
Rosita, P&G Music, and Fonovisia were among the labels that included Ayala and Los Bravos del Norte's songs, while Freddie Records was their primary label. Various love songs, rancheras, corridos, and dances performed in the classic norteño style were included in more than 60 titles from 1998 to 2016.
