Rok Brigade is an American tribute band for Def Leppard. The band was formed in the summer of 2018. The group was started by six close friends who were already working in different well-established cover bands in the Chicago city.
The current lineup of the Rok Brigade consists of Chris Bobrowski (lead vocals), Billy Covert (backing vocals and bass), Marty Craven (backing vocals and lead guitar), Jose Guevara (backing vocals and lead guitar), Len Gorka (backing vocals and keyboards), and Hugo Ayala (backing vocals and drums). All of these six friends merged and decided to play tribute to Def Leppard, which was considered to be one of the most dominant party rock bands during the 1980s.
Rok Brigade wanted to cover only favorite songs from the extensive catalog of the Def Leppard band. They primarily focused on the first six albums of the band, including On Through the Night (1980), High ‘n’ Dry (1981), Pyromania (1983), Hysteria (1987), Adrenalize (1992), and Slang (1996). The group cares too much about the authenticity of their music. This was the reason why such big stage props, risers, and extra ramps, as well as intelligent lighting, are part of their shows.
