Rob Zombie Information
Rob Zombie (January 12, 1965) is an American actor, singer, record producer, actor, filmmaker, and songwriter. He was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts. White Zombie, of whom Zombie was a founding member and leader, issued four albums during his initial rise to stardom.
The first released in 1996, "Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn)" was co-written and performed with Alice Cooper and nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. In 1998, he released Hellbilly Deluxe, his first studio album as a solo artist.
The song "The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition)" by Zombie was released on October 30, 2020; it was his first in four years. This "ferocious blast of big guitar metal" is the lead song from his upcoming seventh studio album, The Lunar Injection Kool-Aid Eclipse Conspiracy (due out March 12, 2021). Zeuss, who also worked on the record The Electric Warlock, served as producer. Previous years of Zombie's life had been spent primarily on filming.
Rob Zombie, John 5, Nikki Sixx, and Tommy Clufetos revealed in May 2021 that they had created a supergroup dubbed L.A. Rats. Their first release was a version of the song "I've Been Everywhere" from the movie The Ice Road, starring Liam Neeson.
The cinematic adaptation of The Munsters was released on digital, DVD, Blu-ray, and Netflix on September 27, 2022. In May of 2023, Zombie stated that he began recording his eighth solo album.
