Richie Scarlet Information
Richie Scarlet is an American musician, songwriter, and producer from New York known as “The Emperor of Rock and Roll.” Scarlet began his career in the early 80s as a solo artist but was a founding member of the former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley’s band named Frehley’s Comet. With this same band, Richie Scarlet toured for many years. The band split in 1996, and Scarlet once again shifted towards his solo career. Later on, he also played guitar on the solo album entitled Trouble Walking by Ace Frehley.
Richie Scarlet has released a total of six albums as a solo artist. His notable albums are Hit For Hit, Wise Guy From New York, Out Of My Past, The Insanity Of Life, Live Stage To Stage, Revelation Supreme, and Fever. He has worked with various record labels so far, including Violet Records, Axis Records, Gem Three Records, Poptown Records, Core Records (9), and Torn Ticket Productions.
Scarlet reunited with Frehley in September of 2014 and toured with Ace until October 2018. Other than his solo career and touring schedule with Ace, Scarlet has also recorded and toured with the former Alice Cooper Group members Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith, the former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, along with various incarnations of the band Mountain.
Richie Scarlet is also famous for producing many groups so far, such as Michael Bruce, the Misfits, 5th Avenue Vampires, Karais James, and the Chesterfield Kings. He is also a member of Return of the Comet.
