Plain White T's Information
The Plain White T's is an American rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Tom Higgenson, Tim Lopez, Mike Retondo, and De'Mar Hamilton. Lombard is where the Plain White T's got their start in 1997. When the band first started, it was just Higgenson (vocalist and guitarist), Fletcher (bass guitar), and Tirio (drums). Before playing the Metro in Chicago's Wrigleyville district, the band primarily performed at small-scale punk events in the suburbs of Chicago.
Come On Over was the band's debut album, which was recorded in the year 2000. The band's 2002 full-length album Stop, which they self-financed, caught the ear of Fearless Records. The "Land of the Living" music video by Plain White T's was released in May 2017. After departing from the longtime label Fearless in 2005, the band has returned triumphantly. The band has announced that they are in the process of writing new music as of April 2017.
In 2017, the band played "Hey There Delilah" at the Alternative Press Music Awards. The band's performance at the 2017 National Scout Jamboree in July marked the end of the event, marking precisely ten years since "Hey There Delilah" had topped the charts. Fearless Records re-signed Plain White T's in 2017. On August 24, 2018, they released their most recent studio album, Parallel Universe. Higgenson is the sole surviving original member of the band after Tirio left in October 2020. Plain White T's officially released their self-titled studio album on November 17, following the release of six singles through 2023.
