Phil Naro Band Information
Phil Naro is an American Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award-winning singer. He is also an internationally acclaimed songwriter and composer and is well-known for singing the theme song for the cartoon “6Teen”. Naro began his professional career in Rochester, New York when he was fifteen. He performed in a variety of popular High School bands with his tremendous four-octave range and powerful voice.
Naro may be best known for being the front-man of the band of Billy Sheehan. He immersed his talents in recording and writing songs during the late 1980s and was soon discovered by the famous producer, Eddie Kramer, who has worked with KISS, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin. Kramer recommended Naro to Peter Criss, who helped create a breakthrough for Naro’s career.
Naro collaborated with John Rogers, Dusty Danglers, Long Tom, and Brighton Rock to form “The Phil & John Show.” Naro was asked to sing “Fall in Love,” along with Julian Lennon, Ben Crudup, and Brian May, released on March 30, 2015.
Naro has formed many bands throughout his career, including 24k and Blood Red Flow. In all of these bands, Phil Naro leads from the front. His significant releases include Druckfarben (2011), Second Sound (2014), and Artifact (Live at the Virgin Mobile Mode) (2013).
