The Petty Hearts is one of the nationally touring Tom Petty tribute bands that celebrate the musical legacy and life of Tom Petty. This group replicates the authentic sound of the amazing 40-years of Petty’s rock and roll career. The current lineup consists of TJ Cronin (Lead Vocal, Rhythm Guitar), Anthony Pangilinan (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Doug Aronson (Drums, Backing Vocals), Bob Rankin (Bass, Harmonica, Mandolin, Backing Vocals), and Dave Glaid (Keyboards, Percussion).
The Petty Hearts is best-known for performing some faithful renditions of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ extensive catalog. This includes a number of his best-known Top 40 hit songs. Also, the band plays some deeper album cuts that have rarely been played live by Mr. Petty. The tribute band performs all across the nation in front of thousands of fans. They have rocked many performing arts theaters, amphitheaters, festivals, and nightclubs.
The band has also headlined at some notable venues affiliated with the Hard Rock Café, NASCAR, House of Blues, Live Nation, iHeartRadio, the Miami Marlins, the Miami Dolphins, state fairs, along with dozens of municipalities. The Petty Hearts are well-recognized for being the first and only Tom Petty tribute band invited to play the Abbey Road on the River, a national Beatle fans convention. The ensemble was also selected to appear in Season 1 of the Tribute Wars USA, a popular nationally televised series.
