Pedro Francisco Rodríguez Sosa (November 14, 1980), professionally known as Pedro Capó, is a Puerto Rican vocalist. He is the grandson of Bobby Capó, a singer and former Miss Puerto Rico, Irma Nydia Vázquez. His educational journey began in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, at Colegio Calasanz. In the band Marka Registrada, Pedro played guitar and became the lead vocalist after picking up the instrument at a young age and rapidly becoming adept.
"Almost Like Praying" by Lin-Manuel Miranda featured Capó among other artists in 2017, including Rita Moreno, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, and Gloria Estefan. In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, the Hispanic Federation's relief operations in Puerto Rico were sponsored by the proceeds from the song's popularity.
Capó released a single titled "Calma" in 2018—his first musical release following a lengthy stint in acting. The song video was shot to fame after Farruko collaborated on the remix; as of May 2022, it had over 2.5 billion views on YouTube. The artist's debut Latin Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video, "Pedro Capó: En Letra de Otro," was also presented to him.
