NOFX Information
NOFX is an American-based punk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. All of the band's albums feature the original, longest-serving members—bassist/lead vocalist Fat Mike, rhythm guitarist Eric Melvin, and drummer Erik Sandin—except for Sandin, who left briefly in 1985 but returned the following year. El Hefe, who plays trumpet and lead guitar, became a band member in 1991.
Although they were more popular than many of their punk rock peers in the '90s, NOFX was never signed to a big label, even though their mainstream success occurred while punk rock was becoming more popular. Fifteen studio albums, sixteen EPs, and a slew of 7-inch singles have been released by NOFX.
Their sole album to date to be certified gold by the RIAA, Punk in Drublic (1994), catapulted the band to fame. With the announcement of the Single Album's February 26, 2021 release, NOFX finally returned to the studio after nearly five years.
They are among the most successful indie bands, with over eight million recordings sold globally. Fuse TV ran NOFX's 2008 original series, NOFX: Backstage Passport.
The release date of NOFX's next album, Double Album, was confirmed for December 2, 2022, on September 27, 2022. They also dropped a song remix from their 7-inch of the Month Club for 2019 and 2020, "Darby Crashing," that same day.
