Nita Strauss is an American rock musician who has had a successful solo career and is currently Alice Cooper's touring guitarist. The first female Ibanez guitar signature artist, Strauss, is frequently seen on the covers of international print publications, including Guitar World and Guitar Player. On Guitar World's list of "10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know," she was named first.
In her junior year of high school, Strauss dropped out to focus solely on music and began touring with her band, Lia-Fail, which featured future world champion boxer Mikaela Mayer. Although Strauss is most known for her work with the all-female Iron Maiden tribute band The Iron Maidens, she has also performed with several other rock bands over her career, including Critical Hit, Consume the Fire, and Femme Fatale.
