Nacho Information
Miguel Ignacio Mendoza Donatti (August 22, 1983) is a famous Venezuelan singer and political activist. He is better known as Nacho and was born in Lecheria, Anzoategui. Nacho currently resides in Miami, Florida. He is best known as a member of the duo Chino & Nacho. He attended U.S.P Maria Auxiliadora, where he studied Electronic Engineering and Law for almost two years. He was also part of the Calle Ciega group before debuting as part of the Chino & Nacho.
After forming Chino & Nacho, Mendoza gained fame as a Latin artist. The duo’s notable songs include “Andas en mi cabeza”, “Me voy enamorando”, “Bebe bonita”, “Regalame un muac”, “El poeta”, “Lo que no sabes tu”, “Ty angelito”, and “Mi nina bonita”. Chino & Nacho also went on a “Radio Universo Tour” tour that included around 80 concerts in different countries, including a gig at American Airlines Arena and Madison Square Garden. The duo also received a Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Album for his album, Mi Nina Bonita, in 2010.
Nacho began his solo career after Chino & Nacho took a break as a group. Nacho confessed that he wanted to spend more time with his family. He signed a record deal with Universal Music Group later on to continue his solo career. He also signed an agreement as a music executive to help search for new talents and allow them to become known. The first music video of his debut single as a soloist entitled “Bailame” was released on April 14, 2017.
