The Americana rock group Madam Radar packs a powerful punch with their varied original songs and exploding harmonies. The clear advantage of having three primary singers and songwriters is that various audiences will find something they enjoy. This family band has been compared to the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac for their contagious spirit. Jace Cadle and Kelly Green, husband and wife, are joined by Kody Lee and Violet Lea, Kody Lee's girlfriend. A Madam Radar performance is certainly a one-of-a-kind experience because of the band's distinctive songwriting, soaring guitar solos, sweeping vocals, lush harmonies, and changing lead singers.
Renowned performers like Bon Jovi, Lukas Nelson, Hayes Carll, Billy Joe Shaver, Jack Ingram, ShinyRibs, Jackie Venson, and comedian Ron White have performed on stages alongside Madam Radar. They were the first Austin-based band to play in the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, and they have won two Black Fret Grants.
Songs in the Key of Pain, the first full-length album by Madam Radar as The Texas KGB, was released in 2016. They released their second full-length album in 2017 album titled Welcome Home. With Omar Vallejo at 512 Studios, both were recorded.
