Mad Caddies Information
The Mad Caddies, or the Caddies, is an American ska punk band founded in 1995. The group originated from Solvang, California, and was formerly known as The Ivy League. The band plays reggae, punk rock, pop-punk, and ska-punk music. The current lineup of The Mad Caddies includes Chuck Robertson - lead vocals, rhythm guitar; Sascha Lazor - lead guitar, banjo; Eduardo Hernandez – trombone; Graham Palmer- bass guitar, vocals; Todd Rosenberg- drums; and Mark Bush - trumpet, backing vocals. Chuck Robertson, Todd Rosenberg, Sascha Lazor, and Carter Benson are the band's founding members.
The Mad Caddies started as a group when the founding members attended Santa Ynez Valley Union High School. In the mid-1990s, the band members performed as Cracked Macaroni at their high school. Soon the name changed, and in 1996, the current name was what they decided to land on after signing to the Honest Don's Records label. Quality Soft Core was the debut album released in 1997.
Later on, The Mad Caddies signed to Fat Mike's label Fat Wreck Chords and released six studio albums, one live album, and two EPs under this label. Their studio albums are Duck and Cover (1998), Rock the Plank (2001), Just One More (2003), Keep It Going (2007), Dirty Rice (2014), and Punk Rocksteady (2018). Songs in the Key of Eh! (Live from Toronto) (2004) is the live album by the band, whereas the two EPs are The Holiday Has Been Cancelled (2000) and 2007 Tour EP (2007).
