Les Louanges Information
Vincent Roberge is the lead singer of Les Louanges, a Canadian indie pop band from Quebec. La Nuit est une panthère, his debut album, was a Polaris Music Prize shortlist nominee in 2019 and won the Juno Award for Francophone Album of the Year at the 2020 Juno Awards. Roberge, a native of Lévis, published his first EP, Le Mercure, in 2016. In 2017, he competed in the Francouvertes competition, coming in third place behind winner Lydia Képinski.
In 2018, the film La nuit est une panthère was released. He was also nominated for a SOCAN Songwriting Prize in the French section for his song "Tercel" and his Polaris Prize candidacy. At the 2019 edition of Les Francos de Montréal, he won the Prix Félix-Leclerc, and at the Festival d'été de Québec, he won the Prix Espoir FEQ, and his single "Attends-moi pas" was shortlisted for the 2020 SOCAN Songwriting Prize. He composed the soundtrack for Anne Émond's film Young Juliette, released in 2019.
