Legendary Shack Shakers Information
The Legendary Shack Shakers is an American rockabilly/blues band that was formed in the mid of the 1990s in Paducah, Kentucky. The band was inspired by country blues, carnival music, swamp rock, obscure Southern music genres, old-time music, and rock and roll. The current lineup of the band consists of J.D. Wilkies, Gary Siperko, Preston Corn, and Fuller Condon.
Legendary Shack Shakers toured with Reverend Horton Heat throughout the mid-2000s. He also appeared as a guest guitarist on three tracks on the album by the band that released in 2006 entitled “Pandelirium.” The band opened up once again for some other legendary artists such as Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Legendary Shack Shakers has also toured with multiple top groups so far, including Hank Williams III, Slim Cessna’s Auto, Rancid, Robert Plant, The Damned, and The Black Keys. The band had a record deal with several record labels such as YepRoc, Alternative Tentacles, Bloodshot, Spinout, Colonel Knowledge, and Arkam. The group has also appeared in the film Seven Signs during the Raindance Film Festival in 2008.
Legendary Shack Shakers released many studio albums including Hunkerdown (1998), Cockadoodledon’t (2003), Believe (2004), Panderilium (2006), Lower Broad Lo-Fi (2007), Swampblood (2007), AgriDustrial (2010), The Southern Surreal (2015), and After You’ve Gone (2017).
