Last in Line Information
Last in Line is a British-American rock band formed in 2012 in Los Angeles, California. The group was created by former members of the original lineup of Dio. The lineup of the band currently consists of Vinny Appice (drums), Vivian Campbell (guitar), Andrew Freeman (lead vocals), and Phil Soussan (bass). On February 20, 2016, Last in Line released its debut studio album consisting of original material entitled Heavy Crown.
Last in Line officially began to perform live shows in May 2012. Initially, they planned to play songs from the first three Dio albums: Sacred Heart, The Last in Line, and Holy Diver. On August 3, 2013, Last in Line performed for the first time at the Slidebar, located in Fullerton, California. The band played each song from the album Holy Diver and five tracks from The Last in Line, and two from Sacred Heart.
In April 2014, Last in Line began recording tracks for their debut album, Heavy Crown. Former Dio bassist Jeff Pilson produced the album. The band released a music video for their premiere single entitled “Devil in Me” on November 17, 2015. The group members confirmed that they were working on their second album named “#," released on February 22, 2019.
