Kiss the Sky is an American tribute band that plays in memory of the legendary Jimi Hendrix. The group is considered one of the world’s greatest tribute band to Jimi Hendrix. The group reproduces every aspect of sound and looks and then recreates the original classic concerts of Hendrix.
Jimy Bleu (former Columbia recording artist and virtuoso guitarist) is the frontman of Kiss the Sky. He is backed by a world-class cast of touring musicians from the New York City metro area. These artists are unique as they have recorded and performed with some of the major music artists such as Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, John Mayall, James Cotton, Teddy Pendergrass, LL Cool J, Aretha Franklin, and Pearl Jam.
As such, the musicians of Kiss the Sky is well-experienced in what they do. The three remaining former bandmates and the living legends of Jimi’s crew, including Jerry Velez, Juma Sultan, and Billy Cox, have performed several times on stage with Kiss the Sky members. Jimy Bleu himself is the longest-running Hendrix tribute specialist in the world has also toured with the former Jimi’s band, Billy Cox.
