Kings of Chaos Information
Kings of Chaos is a hard rock supergroup that was founded in 2012. It was formerly known as the Rock N Roll All-Stars and had a short South America tour after its inception. The group’s core lineup consists of bassist Duff McKagan, drummer Matt Sorum, and guitarist Gilby Clarke (of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver). There are also revolving appearances from members, including Deep Purple, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard. The group ordinarily is not meant to have a permanent lineup.
Since their reincarnation as the Kings of Chaos, the group has played in the US, Stone Music Fest in Australia, Central America, and South Africa. The band plays a setlist of songs from the members’ bands. They typically play Guns N’ Roses classics such as “Welcome To The Jungle,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and “Paradise City.” The band also plays Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” and Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me.”
In November of 2014, the band played at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards, which took place at the Avalon in Hollywood. Joe Perry was the special guest, and the group was joined on stage by Brian May.
