Kevin Russell Information
Kevin Richard Russell (January 12, 1964) is a singer born in Hamburg, Germany. His father was British, while his mother was German. Russell is best known as one of the three founding members of the rock band named Bohse Onkels. From 1980 until the band broke up in 2005, he was the band’s lead singer. Russell has been the lead singer of the new band Veritas Maximus since 2012. Russell reunited with Bohse Onkelz in 2014, and he became their lead singer once again.
Russell was sentenced to two years and three months in prison in October 2010 because of his role as a driver in a hit-and-run accident near Frankfurt. He was blamed for driving under the influence of drugs and seriously injuring two people.
Kevin Russell has released many notable albums throughout his career including Fanatorium (1994), Danke Fur Nichts EP (1997), Buch der Erinnerung (1998), Bohse fur’s Leben (2016), Gestern war heute noch (2001), Lieder wie Orkane (2011), Gehasst verdammt (1994), Live in Vienna Uncut (1992), Memento Gegen die Ziet, and Live in Dortmund (1997).
