Keshi Information
Casey Thai Luong (November 4, 1994), known as Keshi, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He was motivated to learn how to play the guitar due to Drake Bell's role in Drake & Josh. He taught himself how to play the instrument using his grandfather's classical guitar and a Vietnamese music book.
The songs "Like I Need U," "Limbo," and "Drunk" have brought him the most fame. Luong came up with the name "Keshi" and started uploading songs to his SoundCloud website around 2017. He attributed his success in composing, producing, and engineering music to the knowledge he gained from watching tutorial videos on YouTube.
In 2019, he left his position as a nurse and relocated to New York City to acquire a recording contract with Island Records. According to Keshi, some artists who have influenced his musical style are WORDS, Frank Ocean, the 1975, Drake, and Bryson Tiller.
