James Merrill Brickman (November 20, 1961) is an American pop singer, songwriter, pianist, and radio broadcaster. Brickman has gotten two Grammy nominations for his albums Faith (2009) for Best New Age Album and Peace (2003) for Best Instrumental. Twice awarded Songwriter of the Year by SESAC, he received a Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association and a Canadian Country Music Award.
Lists 22 of his albums peaking at No. 1 on the New Age chart and 16 of his singles reaching Top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart on the billboard. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified four of his albums as Gold. Brickman is noted for his popularity in radio's adult contemporary style and writes various songs.

Although Brickman believes his music is more general than that, his lengthy connection with Windham Hill causes some classification of his work as in the new-age genre.
