Jennifer Grimm Information
Jennifer Grimm had a great time growing up on the road, dancing and singing her way across the country with her family's variety show for the first thirteen years of her life. She attended public school when she moved to the Twin Cities in her teens and continued to act with her mother, Colleen Raye, at various locations such as the Mall of America, Treasure Island Casino, and Mystic Lake Casino.
Grimm continued singing in bars with 10-piece funk bands, in various cabaret and theatre venues with theatre groups, and convention halls and churches as a featured vocalist with Augsburg College's Gospel Praise while getting her degree in Mathematics from Augsburg College.
Grimm began her solo career soon after college, performing on stages around the country with people like Garrison Keillor and Debbie Duncan and in New York City, Europe, and the Caribbean. Grimm continues to make her home in the Twin Cities, where she has had radio and recording success both locally and internationally.
Grimm's credits include Carnegie Hall, the Ordway's Johnny Mercer Songbook Series, the Fitzgerald Theater's Steerage Song, earning the second spot on Aruba's year-end top 100 countdowns. She has also performed in New York City with the shining press in The Village Voice, opening for Oleta Adams at the St. Vincent Blues Festival, and many more.
