David Sanders (December 22, 1995), often known by his stage name, Jean Dawson, is an experimental pop musician. Since 2018, he released three albums and over a dozen singles under his record label, P+. He has also toured the U.S. and Europe with Brockhampton, among other musicians. In 2019, he unveiled his first studio album, Bad Sports.
Though it did not pick up immediately, his second album, Pixel Bath (2020), did. The record produced several viral singles like "Triple Double" and "Power Freaks." Over just a few years, both songs swiftly accumulated over 6.5 million listens on Spotify alone. Other viral successes of his are "Menthol*" and "Porn Acting*," which respectively attracted more than five million and 1.9 million Spotify streams.
Though still relatively new, some of his tracks have appeared on numerous popular Spotify playlists like "New Music Friday" and "All New Indie." During his career, Dawson has had the honor of touring with like-minded musicians such as Young the Giant, Phantogram, and Junior Varsity.
