Jason Douglas Crabb (March 3, 1977) is a Christian music singer from Beaver Dam, Kentucky. He has played for The Crabb Family as a lead vocalist until the group retired in 2007. Crabb signed to Spring Hill Music Group as a solo artist. His music is defined as gospel, southern gospel, and Christian.
Crabb released his self-titled debut solo album on June 30, 2009, which reached number 62 on the Billboard 200, number 1 on Nielsen SoundScan's Southern Gospel albums chart, and number 2 on the Billboard Christian albums chart. It also won a 2010 Grammy award for the category of the Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album and many additional nominations.
A Christmas album titled Because It's Christmas was the second solo project by Crabb that came out on September 28, 2010. His family reunited as a group to record this album, accompanied by a tour. Some of the other notable studio albums by Crabb are Love Is Stronger 2013, Whatever the Road 2015, and Unexpected 2018. Through the Fire: The Best of Jason Crabb is the only compilation album by Crabb from 2015.
Crabb has appeared in many hit films, such as Marie, Uncommon, and Welcome to Inspiration. He was also seen as the host of Praise the Lord 2006, Christian Artist Talent Search 2007, and John Hagee Today 2014.
Crabb has won 9 GMA Dove Awards and 2 Grammy Awards along with numerous nominations.
