Jared and The Mill were formed in 2011 and are an indie rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. The current lineup of the group includes Jared Kolesar (acoustic guitar and vocals), Michael Carter (electric guitar and banjo), Josh Morin (drums), Chuck Morriss III (bass), and Larry Gast III (electric guitar). The band has been releasing all of their projects independently since playing and releasing music. The group was formed when Jared and The Mill met through their mutual friends. They were studying at the college at that time at Arizona State University.
Jared & The Mill has released a few notable albums throughout their active years. Their first albums include Western Expansion (2013), Live We Chose EP (2015), Jared & The Mill on Audiotree Live (2016), Orme Dugas EP (2016), and This Story Is No Longer Available (2018).
