I Prevail Information
I Prevail is a 2013 Southfield, Michigan-based American rock band. They became famous after releasing a metal version of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift, which went platinum in the U.S., and their first extended play (EP), Heart vs. Mind (2014). After that, in 2016, Lifelines, in 2019, Trauma, and in 2022, True Power were the band's studio albums.
The band's original songs also did well on rock radio; "Hurricane" and "Breaking Down" were particularly popular. The 2019 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song "Bow Down" and the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album for the album Trauma.
The band's second single, "Bad Things," was released on July 12, 2022. The band's music video for "Self-Destruction" was released on August 19, 2022. Pierce the Veil, Fit for a King, Stand Atlantic, and Yours Truly served as openers for the band's True Power Tour, which began in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in June 2022 and ran from September 9 to October 9.
Their tour started on September 9 and concluded in Detroit, Michigan, on November 22. The band's music video for "There's Fear In Letting Go" was released on November 22, 2022, and the band's "Deep End" music video was released on March 16, 2023.
