Hyryder is a tribute band that plays tribute to Grateful Dead music, formed in the summer of 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The current lineup of the group includes Charlie Morgan (lead guitar and lead vocals), Nick Neureiter (drums and vocals), Eric Thompson (rhythm guitar and vocals), and Blair Ping (bass guitar and vocals). The band was founded out of the individual's intense love for the Grateful Dead music. Their ambition was to carry on the rich musical tradition that was developed by the legendary band.
Hyryder strives hard to create an authentic experience of the original music. Hyryder routinely performs “monster” 3 set shows and prides itself on changing progressive jams and setlists. They can perform multiple nights without repeating material; thus, the band members provide their fans with an intimately different experience each time they take the stage.
Hyryder has had the honor of sharing the stage with an All-Star lineup of artists including Cosby Sweater, Papadosio, Hot Buttered Rum, Cornmeal, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, The New Mastersounds, Larry Keel, Trombone Shorty, and Orleans Avenue, Drew Emmitt, Tea Leaf Green, Keller Williams, and various others.
