Hovvdy Information
American Indie pop duo Hovvdy is based in Austin, Texas. The group launched its career in 2014 after releasing an EP. They released a split with the group Loafer the next year. In 2016, Hovvdy issued their self-titled debut album. Cranberry is the title of Hovvy's second full-length album, which was released in 2018.
The band Lomelda and musician Hannah Read collaborated on a split album in 2019. Following their divorce, Hovvdy and Lomelda began to cover one another's songs. The two also undertook a summer promotional tour. Heavy Lifter, the duo's third album, was made available in 2019. On October 1, 2021, the band's fourth album, True Love, was made available.
Hovvdy has released several EPs throughout their career, including billboard for my feelings (2022), Covers 2 (2021), Covers (2019), and Stay Warm (2015). Notable singles of the duo are "I'm Sorry," "Runner," "Easy / Turns Blue," "Problem," and "Meg."
