Hot Chelle Rae is an American Rock band. The band was formed in the year 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee. The group consists of following current members; Nash Overstreet (backing vocals, lead guitar), Ryan Follese (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), and Jamie Follese (drums). The band released their debut album on October 27, 2009, named Lovesick Electric. In 2011, the group gained excellent attention for their double-platinum single entitled “Tonight Tonight.” Their another single “I Like It Like That” topped at number 28 on the Billboard 100 in the United States.
Nash Overstreet and Ryan Follese formed a hot Chelle Rae band. They named the band “Miracle Drug” back then. Soon after the band formed, they released their Masquerade EP. The name of the group changed after Ian Keaggy joined the band. In 2008, Jamie also joined the band. In the same year, the band signed with Jive Records. In 2009, the band released their debut single “I Like to Dance.” The group released their first album on October 29, 2009, called “Lovesick Electric.”
On November 29, 2011, Hot Chelle Rae released their second studio album named “Whatever.” The album reached number 48 on the Billboard 200 in the US, 21 in New Zealand, and 25 in Australia. The third and last single of the album was released in March 2012 called “Honestly.” They have also supported Taylor Swift in March 2012 during her “Speak Now World Tour” that took place in New Zealand and Australia.
In November 2012, the band released the cover of “Jingle Bell Rock.” On January 25, 2013, the band premiered a single “Hung Up.” On February 13, 2013, the single was officially released. Hot Chelle Rae did a tour back in October 2012 called “Whatever World Tour”.
