Hooten Hallers Information
The Hooten Hallers is an American blues/rock'n'roll band. The current lineup consists of Kellie Everett (Baritone saxophone, bass saxophone, and vocals), John Randall (guitar, slide guitar, and vocals), and Andy Rehm (drums and vocals). John Randall (guitar/lead vocals) and Andy Rehm (drums/falsetto vocals) formed the band as a duo and became famous for their wild, spontaneous live shows.
In 2013 and 2014, Paul Weber played harmonica and tuba with the band and contributed to the composition of several of their songs, including "She Used to Love My Music" and "Trouble Is." In 2014, the band was completed by adding baritone and bass saxophonist Kellie Everett. The Hooten Hallers had previously released many albums independently before signing with Big Muddy Records in 2012. Their 2012 CD, "Greetings By Welp City!," featured harmonica work from Ryan Koenig of Pokey LaFarge.
Paul Weber and Kellie Everett appear on the 2014 follow-up LP "Chillicothe Fireball," issued by Big Muddy Records. In 2015, they went on their first European tour with Joe Buck (Musician) and Viva Le Vox, stopping in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, France, and Spain. Big Muddy Records published their acoustic EP Mountain of Pain in 2016, which featured the addition of acoustic guitar, upright bass, violin, and piano to the band's signature sound.
