The group plays the music of the historic band, U2, and brings back the experience of the original band’s performance to the stage. The tribute group has received enough popularity because they have toured the world, performing to massive sold-out crowds in Mexico, France, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Singapore, and the United States.
Hollywood U2 received the Hollywood FAME Producers Choice Award for Outstanding U2 Tribute in 2016. They have also been nominated at the LA Music Awards for “Best Tribute Band” category and was chosen to perform on a TV show by Mark Cuban named “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.” In 2018, the band was invited by NAMM to open the show making an impromptu rooftop performance for the audience. Hollywood U2 received a big stir on social media when they performed “Where The Streets Have No Name” on the Anaheim Convention Center Rooftop balcony.
