Hellogoodbye is a pop-rock band founded in 2001 by vocalist Forrest Kline in Huntington Beach, California. The current lineup consists of Forrest Kline (lead vocals, guitar, ukulele, and primary songwriter), Augustine Rampolla (keyboard, guitar, bass, ukulele, and percussion), Eric Hehr (guitar and keyboard), and Michael Nielsen (drums). They were signed to Drive-Thru Records and released Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006, following the release of the EP Hellogoodbye in 2004 and the DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL in 2005.
In their first two years, the band played local shows in Orange County at places like the Chain Reaction (Anaheim, California), The Hub (Fullerton, California), and Koo's Cafe (Long Beach, California), as well as a few trips to Arizona and a mini-tour with the band Peachcake through Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
Did it Kill You? was released in March 2013 as a live CD recorded during a house party in December 2012. On the band's Facebook page, the album was made available in a share-to-download manner. Did it Kill You? has songs from the band's second album, as well as Forrest's original Christmas song and a cover of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann."
Hellogoodbye started a spring tour with Relient K and William Beckett on April 24, 2013. Hellogoodbye announced the release of their third studio album, Everything Is Debatable, in August 2013. On October 29, 2013, the album was released. S'Only Natural, the group's fourth studio album, was released on October 5, 2018.
