Flora Cash Information
Flora Cash is a Swedish-American indie-pop duo that consists of Cole Randall and Shpresa Lleshaj. They both met each other in Stockholm. Lleshaj used to comment on Randall’s tracks that she used to post on SoundCloud. In this way, both discovered each other. After recognizing each other online, both of them met in person in Minneapolis and began working together in Sweden, naming their duo as “Flora Cash.”
On December 12, 2012, Flora Cash released its debut EP “Mighty Fine.” On June 13, 2013, they released their second EP, “Made It For You.” Both of the duo members also got married in the same year. Flora Cash released their third EP on September 20, 2014, entitled “I Will Be There.” In 2015, Flora Cash signed with Swedish label, Icons Creating Evil Art. In March 2016, the duo released “Can Summer Love Last Forever?”.
In April 2017, Flora Cash released their debut full-length album named Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine). In July 2018, Flora Cash signed to RCA Records of Sony Music. The duo made their American television debut. They performed “You’re Somebody Else” on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The next day after the show, Flora Cash launched a North American tour, and they shared the stage with Superorganism, SYML, Amen Dunes, and Aquilo. The music video of “You’re Somebody Else” was posted on YouTube on November 6, 2018.
Another composition of the Flora Cash entitled “Save Me” was featured as the closing track on Australian Screen NSW drama Janet King’s series 3, on its final installment. The duo released its second studio album in 2020 entitled “Baby, It’s Okay.”
