Fit For A King Information
Fit for a King is an American metalcore band. The current lineup comprises Bobby Lynge, Ryan Kirby, Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary, Daniel Gailey, and Trey Celaya. Jared Easterling, Aaron Decur, Justin Juno, Jared McFerron, Alex Danforth, and Jed McNeill were the members of Fit for a King when they were created in 2007 in Tyler, Texas. When they were starting, the band played local and regional shows and put out two extended plays. After deciding to go on a full-time tour in 2009, McNeill and McFerron departed to further their studies.
As a guitarist, Bobby Lynge joined Kirby's Bodies Awake. Descendants, the band's 2011 self-released debut studio album, was recorded in 2011. After the video for their song "Ancient Waters" came out, the band began to receive more attention. In 2011, bassist Decur departed to become a police officer. Aaron Kadura, who sang clean vocals with Easterling, took Decur's place.
The music video and single "Reaper" were both dropped by Fit for a King on June 23, 2022. They said they were putting more effort into creating "intentional albums" and would reduce the frequency of album releases in an announcement on September 27, 2023. Fit for a King unexpectedly dropped their new track "Keeping Secrets" and music video on January 12, 2024.
