Dry Reef Information
Dry Reef is a band that wants to start a movement of positive, high-energy music. Their signature indie surf style is based on rhythmically driven songwriting, incredibly lush guitar melodies, and pulsating, dynamic vocals. Dry Reef, with its breezy alternative sound, has successfully competed in the indie, jam band, and reggae genres. These musicians in their mid-20s are swiftly transitioning from idealists to established opinion leaders.
After releasing their genre-bending 'Alright Revival EP' to kick out 2018, Dry Reef hit the road for over thirty east coast shows. The EP was broadcast on Radio 104.5, Philadelphia's most popular radio station, and in several music magazines, where it got rave reviews. The group's self-titled debut album dropped in the fall of 2018 and was hailed as a triumph by critics and fans alike.
The band's 2019 tour took them all over the United States, from Miami to Chicago and Denver. The group sees itself as "road warriors," touring relentlessly across the country and making regular appearances in established areas and emerging locales. Following an intense year on the road, Dry Reef hit again in the first few months of 2020, playing over twenty locations, including Charleston, New Orleans, and Austin, as main support acts. The year 2021 was a watershed moment for the band, as they shared the stage alongside G. Love and Little Stranger and completed a lengthy east coast tour. By the end of 2021, Dry Reef had also published their "Be Home Soon" EP. The band is preparing for a monumental new year by releasing new music and upcoming shows.
