Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Information
Matthews and Reynolds first met at Miller's Bar in Charlottesville, Virginia. Reynolds supported Matthews' musical development. When Matthews approached Reynolds about joining TR3, he was urged to start his group.
Dave Matthews Band (DMB) is the group he later formed. On occasion, Reynolds has recorded with or toured with DMB, appearing on albums like Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash, Before These Crowded Streets, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, Away from the World, and Come Tomorrow. By 1993, Matthews and Reynolds were doing acoustic sets as a side project, with their debut gig taking place on April 22.
From then on, whether it was as Dave and Tim, Matthews as a guest with TR3, or Reynolds as a guest with Dave Matthews Band or Dave Matthews and Friends, they always played acoustic and did so every year (except 2000, 2001, and 2002).
