Max Clarke is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in Ohio and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. His stage name is Cut Worms, and he is known by this moniker professionally.
Bands such as Jenny Lewis, Kevin Morby, The Lemon Twigs, and Michael Rault have been among many that Cut Worms has supported as an opening act. In 2017, Cut Worms issued the extended play "Alien Sunset." 2018 saw the release of Cut Worms' first full-length album, Hollow Ground, which was issued through Jagjaguwar. Pitchfork ranked Hollow Ground at 7.2 out of 10 for their album.
