Conman Economy (CE) is a 5-piece hard-rock-meets-pop-punk band that originated from Kirksville, MO, in 2012. The current lineup consists of Jon Gooch (vocalist), Bridger Creed (drummer), Anthony Brummer (vocalist/guitarist), Evan Winter (guitarist), and Dylan Painter (bassist). The group has completed several regional tours and continues to gain stronger footholds in the Midwest scenes. The group members started CE with a passion for becoming a beacon in a world that spreads negativity and darkness.
Conman Economy released their debut EP entitled Reach in 2015. The discography featured the heavy-hitting single named “Can’t Hold Me Back.” After extensive touring and shows, the band released a sophomore EP entitled Silent Eyes. It was supported by a tour of the Western United States. The group blended many styles such as metalcore, pop-punk, and emo to form a diverse catalog. This blending guarantees that every track by CE is unique in its own way.
The band is often praised for its no-holds-barred lyrics and catchy riffs. Their songs leave an unforgettable impression on those who hear them and attend their live shows.
