CNCO Information
CNCO is a Latin American boy band that was formed in the very first season of the famous La Banda. CNCO was built at the finale of the show by the union of Christopher Vélez, Zabdiel De Jesús, Erick Brian Colón, Richard Camacho, and Joel Pimentel. The boys face many hurdles during the competition and finally won. The band name was also received during that time, which meant five in Spanish. CNCO’s music is described as Latin pop and reggaeton.
The first album released by CNCO was Primera Cita that was released on August 26, 2016. This album included hits like "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)." The second album by the band was a self-titled one, which was released on April 6, 2018. Both of these releases hit number one spot on the Billboard Top Latin Albums and were included in the top 40 on the Billboard 200.
On January 29, 2016, the band released their debut single entitled "Tan Fácil." This song debuted on number 25 on the Billboard's Latin Rhythm Airplay, instantly topped the U.S. iTunes Latino charts and number 23 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. It later peaked at number one on the chart of the Latin Airplay. Their first single was followed by "Quisiera," second single, which was released on May 13, 2016.
Some of the other hit singles by CNCO are "Para Enamorarte," "Hey DJ," "Reggaetón Lento (Remix)," "Mamita," "Sólo Yo," "Se Vuelve Loca," and a few more. The band also released an extended play named Que Quiénes Somos that was released on October 11, 2019.
CNCO also performed as an opening act for many concert tours, including Ricky Martin's One World Tour 2016, Ariana Grande – Dangerous Woman Tour 2017, and Enrique Iglesias And Pitbull Tour 2017. Some of their headlining tours are Más Allá Tour 2017 and CNCO World Tour 2018-2019.
CNCO won six Premios Juventud in 2016, three Latin American Music Awards, three Premios Lo Nuestro, two Billboard Latin Music Awards, two iHeartRadio Music Awards, two Latin AMAs 2019, and many nominations as well.
