Chubby and the Gang Information
Chubby and the Gang is an English rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Joe McMahon, Maegon Brooks Mills, Tom Hardwick, and Ethan Stahl. 15 Charlie "Chubby" Manning-Walker started in the British hardcore punk scene. His primary musical involvement in the 2010s was with the New Wave of British Hardcore bands, specifically with Violent Reaction and Arms Race.
Here, he met the people who would become his bandmates in Chubby and the Gang: the members of Brighton band Vile Spirit and Gutter Knife. In 2019, they went into the studio with Fucked Up's producer Jonah Falco to record their debut album, Speed Kills. Despite being scheduled for release before the tours, Speed Kills was released by Static Shock Records during the band's two January 2020 U.S. tours in support of the Royal Hounds and Hank Wood and the Hammerheads.
It was revealed in March 2020 that they would perform at the 2021 Two Thousand Trees Festival. They announced their first headlining show on October 10, which will be in London's Bush Hall on May 15, 2021. The band's 2021 Great Escape Festival appearance was announced on November 19. Partisan Records re-released Speed Kills on November 20.
