Chicano Batman is an American band. The current lineup comprises Eduardo Arenas, Carlos Arévalo, and Bardo Martinez. In 2008, Chicano Batman came into being. One of the most beloved albums of 2014, according to NPR's Alt. Latino was the band's work. Chicano Batman served as support on certain dates throughout the January and February portion of Jack White's Lazaretto Tour 2015. In 2017, Conan was the late-night broadcast debut of Chicano Batman.
Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky featured them in a 2017 commercial where they sang "This Land is Your Land." The film LOW RIDER (2016) features their acting. The Chicano Batman had already revealed the title of their upcoming fourth studio album, "Invisible People." "Freedom Is Free" was the band's 2017 follow-up, and on May 1st, ATO released it. Producing and engineering the new record were Shawn Everett and Leon Michels. The message came with the new tune "Color My Life."
In interviews, Carlos Arévalo, the band's guitarist, said that the band members became close over their shared love of Tropicália and Brazilian singer Caetano Veloso in the 1960s. Black soul artists Curtis Mayfield, the Delfonics, and The Beatles were major influences on the band's distinctive funky sound.
