Celtica Pipes Rock Information
Celtica Pipes Rock is a rock band founded by the Austrian guitarist, producer, and composer, Gajus Stappen in December 2009. Stappen gathered several American and European musicians in Phoenix, Arizona, to record their first CD entitled “Rising.” Together they also shot their first video for the song “Atholl Highlanders” at Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. Celtica played most of Europe’s major Celtic and Scottish themed festivals during the summer of 2010. They also performed in several local Art and Music Festival, which took the group to Italy, Austria, Croatia, Switzerland, and Germany.
The hit album by Celtica, “Rising,” became a Celtic favorite on European radio. It was the first breakthrough for the band. The Celtica Pipes Rock started working on their second CD entitled “Oceans of Fire” when they were on a Europe tour performing at festivals. The band also began to gain notoriety with many Canadian and American promoters. This led the band to plan their first North American tour in the fall of 2012.
Celtica Pipes Rock has released a few well-received albums so far. Their debut album entitled “Oceans of Fire” came out in 2012. Other albums include Legends and Visions (2014), Steamphonia (2016), Live Montelago (2018), and Celtic Spirits (2020).
